My name is Mallory Westbrook, and I am a junior at the University of Georgia. I am a double major in Graphic Design and Advertising, and I am also pursuing a Double Dawg in Mass Communications with a concentration in Advertising. I believe that effective advertising strategies hinge on a knowledge of graphic design principles. The graphics, visuals, and typography that compose advertisements are all created by designers. In my pursuit of applicable creativity, I have found that combining these two pathways will allow me to design ads more successfully than two separate departments may. I am an honors student enrolled in the Morehead Honors College at the University of Georgia, and I have also been a Presidential Scholar for four consecutive semesters. I hope to graduate with my two majors and earn my Master's in just a few more years!
